Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. Episode 245 was recorded over a week in advance, as we knew we'd be busy getting ready for Ireland. This was on the way to our first gig at the Southeast Texas Renaissance Faire in Kirbyville, the morning after our gig at the Pub McDonough in Granbury. Lots of music discussion in this episode, and also some talk about music biopics.
This morning (Tuesday Oct 24, 2023), we are on our way to Dublin. This'll be the first time we've visited Ireland since we started doing video on SlapperCast, so next week's episode should be pretty interesting.
