One of the local high school football super powers is looking for a new challenge.
The McKinnon Park Secondary School Blue Devils have left the Haldimand-Norfolk High School Football League and are heading to Hamilton.
The Blue Devils have been one of the most dominant forces in local high school football for about a decade, have asked and were granted permission to join the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board league. The Blue Devils join the Gold Division, and will take on Glendale, Westdale, Westomount, and Bernie Cultis secondary schools in the regular season.
Their first game is September 19 at Westmount SS at 3:30pm.
Blue Devils head coach Jason Pudwill and Haldimand-Norfolk league convenor Chris Harvey join us on the podcast to go a little more in depth and share some McKinnon Park Secondary School Blue Devils football stories.
