The first person who introduces chauvinism to her daughter is the mother. A mother who tells her child that her place in the world is the smallest Conner in the world. The woman who raises a child without empathy or respect for the female folk cause they never modeled that a woman could amount to anything. A mother in law who tells her son that his wife is meant to be a slave in the family she was married into. As much as we shout about equality and equity for the female gender, a woman is the woman first problem.
