This week Stu and Marc are joined in Edinburgh by “Absolutely” and Scot Squad star Jack Docherty. After a 25-year break from the Fringe, Jack compares the modern festival to the halcyon days of the 1980’s, discusses his time presenting both his own US-style chat show (interviewing the likes of David Bowie & The Spice Girls) and the BAFTAs (where a risky opening joke had the star-studded audience turn on him immediately). With a wrap sheet as long as your arm, the writer/actor/presenter/producer Docherty rhymes off plenty of great showbiz stories, chats writing on the likes of Spitting Image and Vic & Bob, and how he’s found a return to performing, both at the Fringe and on BBC Scotland’s Scot Squad (alongside a certain Mr McPherson).
