Having appeared in primetime British soaps Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Eastenders, as well as the BBC's Body Guard, Joti Patel took a huge risk...

She moved to America to become an on-camera host and State-side actor just as the pandemic gripped New York!

Joti's dedication and determination saw her trade Birmingham for the Big Apple, with pit stops in Vegas and India! She went on to land roles in Uncoupled (Netflix) and Dr Death, but the road to success was uphill and far from smooth.
