In this episode, George Blitch sits down with Brent Reaves to discuss a variety of topics, including Brent's recent launch of "This Country Life", a podcast that he hosts and puts out weekly within the MeatEater family of podcasts. You can find it by searching for "This Country Life" and you will currently find it under the "Bear Grease" podcast listing. You just subscribed? Good job. Carry on...

Brent is a lifelong outdoorsman whose family roots can be traced back over 150 years in rural Arkansas. He served for 32 years in his career in Law Enforcement (thank you for your service, sir!) while also juggling a second career as a hunting guide for 26 of those years. He was an outdoor videographer, and had his own media company. Needless to say, Brent racked up some incredible experiences in his lifetime, and we're blessed that he likes to share some of his incredible stories.

In his podcast, listeners will be delighted to hear some absolutely amazing stories, served with a side of valuable life lessons and good ol' country wisdom. During this podcast, Brent discusses how he first met his dear friend, Clay Newcomb, and how they started hunting and spending time together. Brent is also a regular contributor on Clay's Bear Grease "Render" podcast (also in the MeatEater podcast network). If you haven't subscribed to the "Bear Grease" podcast, you know the drill.....I'll wait.

Subscribed? Fantastic! You're 2 for 2 and doing good work! Carry on...
