The young chap has probably played for every promotion in the capitol.HFT starting his DJing career playing out Jungle and Deep Dubstep, Gethin Herbert aka HighForThis, migrated to the house scene at the end of 2011. Since then he's been flying through every other house sub genre trying to find where he fits in. The last year has seen his music mature and his sound settle into sampled sleazy deep groovers, analogue slammers and rare disco cuts. This mix mostly shows off his love for the raw loose sound and vinyl only treats. Throughout the year, keep an eye on his soundcloud as he starts to upload his first few finished tracks, as well as his progress with fellow promoter Curtis Smart, as they take their brand, DISCOPALACE, to Cardiff's X Festival and look at bringing out the nights first vinyl only release.
