I made this sound collage in early 2013, nearly a decade ago now, and listening back to it recently I can hear the early seeds of techniques I use in Sound Propositions. My friend Ian Stone Grey was producing a beautiful audio series called Portmanteau at that time, and he included a piano composition of mine in one episode. I was inspired to create some collages of my own that veered further away from music without becoming narrative.

A Portmanteau of sorts.
Some treated field-recordings.
Howlin Wolf.
Federico Campagna on Novara Media.
Gilles Deleuze on the ABCs.
A phased stereo tape loop.
Some edits from Bob Ostertag's Sooner or Later.
