Today we travel to Connecticut to talk with a young and inspiring composer. Joshua Trentadue enjoys exploring philosophical and spiritual views on humanity, nature, and life itself. He balances contemporary and evocative textures with unconventional and experimental soundscapes. He has been performed by the Zenith Saxophone Quartet, Sputter Box, and The ____ Experiment. He is a founding member and current board member of the Millennium Composers Initiative. We talk about piano living in the concert/wind band world, working with living composers, getting into composing, and how to be flexible as a composer in a Covid world.
