Today we are in Asheville, North Carolina, to talk with saxophonist, composer, music historian/theorist, and scotch/whisky lover, Alan Theisen. We discuss his early life as the only musically inclined person in his family, studying at Southern Mississippi and Florida State, musical theater, failing up, avant punk music, over analyzing yourself, Hamilton, and the top 5 Scotch or Whiskies under $100!! This was a lot of fun and Alan is such an easy person to talk with. Get ready to laugh, be inspired, and to fall head first into projects.
