Harold Crews and Mark Thomey, LS Board Member, discuss the improbability of President Elect Donald Trump to be able to institute the reforms upon which he campaigned. They point out how Trump is just one man and despite his charisma, still has the GOP Establishment and the media against him. They go into how the fragmentation by diversity in the United States makes reform all but impossible since political power can only be gained by creating coalitions that are at odds with the other parties coalition. The absence of a common identity or even a common culture eliminates the formation of any consensus. Then Harold and Mark discuss secession and in particular the rise of a California secession movement since the election. They talk about how California secession makes other state secessions more likely.
