Al was born in Glasgow Scotland and moved to Canada when he was young. Golf was his goal & passion until becoming a Christian when he was 18. He entered theological studies when he was 22 at Tyndale College & Seminary. He spent most of his twenties performing and directing drama & theatre with Revelation Ministries while being a Youth Pastor at Glenbrook Presbyterian Church.He was married to Tricia when he was 30 and had two lovely Children Kierran (21) & Alyssa (19). After 17 years with Glenbrook Al worked as a pastor with two more churches, Lighthouse Community Church in Port Credit and Milton Bible Church. Al and Tricia have ministered in Scotland as Church planters with Global Outreach Mission on the West Coast of Scotland for over four years. They are on home assignment living back in Milton and plan to return to Scotland in the Fall. Speaker: Al Smillie
