JESUS CHRIST SAYS, I AM THE TRUE VINE AND WE ARE THE BRANCHES. THE BRANCH IS THE BELIEVER, AND THE VINE IS CHRIST. TO "ABIDE" MEANS TO REMAIN IN CHRIST. JESUS SAID IF THE BRANCH DOES NOT BEAR FRUIT, HE CUTS IT OFF, BUT IF THE BRANCH IS FRUITFUL HE PRUNES IT, THIS WAY IT WILL BE FRUITFUL. ABIDING IN CHRIST IS ALLOWING THE WORD TO FILL OUR MINDS, DIRECT OUR WILL AND TRANSFORM OUR AFFECTIONS. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THOSE ABIDING IN CHRIST AND THOSE NOT ABIDING IN CHRIST IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SAVED AND THE UNSAVED.. A BELIEVER MUST ABIDE IN CHRIST'S WORD, IN LOVE, AND IN PRAYER.
