about Glenn:
Glenn Lym is a 4th generation Chinese American, born in 1944 and raised in Berkeley, California. Glenn has an architecture degree from U.C. Berkeley and a Ph.D in Social Psychology from Harvard University. As an architect, Glenn has been influenced by architects in his family who came before him as well as younger cousins who now practice. Though he has never practiced as an academic social psychologist, it has informed his architecture practice and later, influenced a series of homemade documentaries he started making of the San Francisco Bay Area. These documentaries delve into urban, landscape, architecture, social, political and historical issues. Glenn lives and works in west South of Market, in San Francisco.
