Big thank you to Kingston, Jamaica's own dancehall artist Konshens for coming on my show for an interview! Konshens discussed his new single Shek It, the current state of dancehall in 2024, and his upcoming album that will be releasing soon. He talked about what he learned from working with Shaggy, being on Nipsey Hussle's song Succa Proof, and collaborating with Rick Ross on Big Belly. He got into Vybz Kartel being released from prison, mental health finally being discussed in Jamaica since his brother's suicide, and the trendy vs. artistic music era that artists are currently experiencing.
