Not all podcast guests are created equal. One could say the same thing about elk calls, too. It certainly makes sense that since my favorite elk diaphragm is the pink Jason Phelps signature call, my preferred Phelps Game Calls episode happens to be with Mr Jason Phelps himself (sorry, not sorry, Dirk! LOL)
Sprocket and Chubbs podcast was able to grab Jason for an hour of talking turkey before the season kicked off. Jason gives us a rundown on the current turkey call lineup offered on the Phelps website and we have a great discussion about chasing birds in different environments and the ongoing controversy encompassing spring turkey compared to September elk.
