As with a marathon, you don't start without aiming to get to the end. So it's the same in the Christian life: finishing to the end is our goal. But how can you be sure that you'll make it all the way to the end? How can we be confident that nothing will come and knock us out of the race? Understanding Christian perseverance has massive implications, but it should bring us great security, liberation, and joy.
