Show respect, empathy, honesty, and responsibility in your actions, as these qualities will impact your child's development. Second, practice positive discipline: Discipline is essential but should be done positively and constructively. Focus on teaching and guiding rather than punishment. Use positive reinforcement, logical consequences, and problem-solving techniques to help your child learn from their mistakes and make better choices. After all, most lessons in life are caught, not taught. We share insight on what has worked for us and build a long-lasting relationship with our children.
