As part of our 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children, we interrogated the link between financial stability and gender-based violence. CEO of The NGO Whisperer Dr Carolyne Opinde and Operations Manager of Frida Hartley Shelter for Destitute Women and Children Cheryl Hlabane take us through the connection between these 2 things, as well as the nuances we need to consider in our efforts to combat gender-based violence in our society.​
