In this episode of Standing Post, we talk to two analysts in our Forensic Services Division about science-focused careers in a law enforcement agency. Supervisory Document Analyst Meg O’Brien and Fingerprint Specialist Alicia Hope discussed their early love of science, entering forensic career fields after college and how they help support investigations for both the Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies. During the conversation, they provide a full picture of what their jobs entail and the investigative tools they rely on, including the Secret Service’s International Ink Library and using chemistry to create even more tools. If you’re interested in science or forensics, this is a must-hear episode.
