How many times have you heard, “making money online is easy!” How about, “you don’t need any technical experience?”
Before I answer that question, I want you to take 5 seconds to subscribe to this podcast. Don’t worry, you can pause the episode and come back right where you left off.
If you’re like me, you’ve heard it more times than you can count. If you think about it, that’s about as stupid as handing a 12-year-old a pair of keys to a brand new Ferrari and saying they can drive on the road simply because you saw them play a racing game in Chuck E Cheese.
I can’t tell you how mad I sometimes get when I run across online wannapreneurs, both big and small, who lie right to your face just to get their hands on your money. They lie because not only do they know the challenges themselves in running a business but also because they just want your money. That leaves them in a win-win situation and you lose out.
What you want is a solution. You want something worth the value you paid for. So that being said…
Making money online is NOT a $20 scratch off lottery ticket.
It will require effort on your part, depending on if you want a little money on the side or for this to be your online business.
If you want this to be on the side, I’d highly encourage you to check out freelancing or websites that let you sell what you already have or plan on creating.
If you want this to be your online business, there is a big learning curve; especially if this is the first business you’ve ever done. There’s a lot to learn before even starting, and that’s not counting learning to navigate this online industry!
