In the very precise aerospace sector, confidence is essential. NASA intends to deploy several "Data Cubes" on the moon in September of 2023. These cubes will enable astronauts in the future to "check in'' and use blockchain technology to confirm their existence on the moon. The information on the blockchain can be used to validate any scepticism or conspiracy ideas. Not only NASA, but even Slovakian blockchain startup 3IPK sees blockchain's promise in "space." They store extremely private information, such as satellite imaging data and supply chain information, using blockchain technology. This approach has attracted interest from the European Space Agency, Airbus, and even the Taiwan Space Agency.
Space data can facilitate accurate transactions, just like cryptocurrencies do! The aerospace sector, where mistakes are not tolerated, has greatly benefited from 3IPK's increased reliability! In this episode, Ashley Reeves, Head of Taiwan & Asia Pacific at 3IPK, and co-founder Juraj Zamecnik talk about their shared goal, the history of their company, and how 3IPK came to work with the Taiwan Space Agency.
