On March 10th 2023, Silicon Valley Bank, a major lender to tech startups, collapsed. Which became the largest bank to fail since the financial crisis in 2008. US regulators had to shut down Silicon Valley Bank and take control of its customer deposits. The banks’ swift closures have sent shock waves through the tech industry, Washington and Wall Street.
