After nearly 20 years in clean tech/sustainability, entrepreneurship, and venture investing, Sissi co-founded Metalmark Innovations to tackle air quality and climate change challenges.
Metalmark Innovations is a Public Benefits Corporation and is releasing its patent-pending product: Tatama, the first self-cleaning commercial air purifier. Inspired by the nanostructure of the metalmark butterfly’s wings, Tatama provides air cleaning with HEPA-grade filters that capture 99.97% of airborne particles.
Once a month, Tatama quickly destroys the captured materials and renews the filter for the next cycle, resulting in indoor air that’s far cleaner than outdoor air, without the hassles of typical air purifiers.
