One of the best disk utilities for Mac. Makes it so you can easily recover disk space and find large files and directories that you don't need anymore. Highly recommend this app to clean up your mac.

3DNES Emulator

This emulator takes standard 2D NES games and makes them 3D. There's a beta out that you can checkout. Can't wait to see when someone combines this and on Oculus Rift.

The book Programming Rust is available from O'Reilly as a Early Release (raw and unedited). It looks like it's going to be a great book. It's still early goings and there's a lot of work to do, but it's very promising. Looking forward to getting a copy once I start diving further into Rust.

Slack style emoji is now available on Github PRs, issues, and comments. Curious how this is going to go in the real world. I think it'll save us from all the :+1: comments on pull requests. Specifically, I'm thinking about the ones on open source stuff that's like "I want this, I want this too" etc. I wonder if there are reaction notifications...
New Name, New Home for the Let's Encrypt Client

Over the next few months the Let’s Encrypt client will transition to a new name (soon to be announced), and a new home at the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF).
Not sure if this is a positive move at this point or not. Let's Encrypt barely had a chance to get their name out there and they are already changing it. Let's hope there's new momentum along with the changes.

This is a great little library of common patterns found in modern distributed system. It runs the gamut from circuit breakers through valet key pattern (alphabetically speaking ;)). This is a resource I will definitely be using in the future to share my ideas to colleagues.
