Kristy comes from a background of social justice, community organizing, community care, and violence prevention work. In our discussion, she reminds us all that we haven't yet reached racially equitable societies for lack of plans and research. We need plans and research. Still, advancing equity and inclusion is also about an embodied practice and discipline that connects joy, dignity, belonging, and care.
