In today's episode I interviewed Jay Peloquin, Manager of Fireside Designs.
Fireside Designs is a family-owned business and Jay has been with the company for over 15 years. He has helped the company become the #2 Harman Pellet Stove Dealer in the country, 7 years in a row.
The company was founded by Jay's father, Jean Peloquin, in 1980. Jean was a sales rep for a national company in the hearth industry that lead to him becoming an importer and manufacturer in the early to mid 80s. In the mid 80s Jean and his family opened a retail store in Springfield, MA.
Fireside Designs has grown exponentially over the years from a small 500 sq ft showroom in Springfield, MA to a 2000 sq ft location at 1458 Riverdale st, and now to their current 5000 sq ft state of the art showroom at 1769 Riverdale St. West Springfield Ma.
