Having gone back and forth for over a decade to finish this album "The Moth, the Lizard, and The Secret Machines" we finally get to hear it.

I got to speak to Brandon and Josh about this album, and the space and time between starting this effort, and it's release. We covered the headspace they were in, and the issues behind why the started it in the first place. (And how they came about finishing it, you also notice the use of the word "Space" there is a reason why). I have been a fan of theirs since pretty much the beginning, but that's cause I liked the bands these guys were in prior to this one.

I referred to this album as their "Huck Finn" as the one piece that Twain couldn't let go, or finish, and it sat there bugging him for ages. This album was what Secret Machines wanted to do, and they did it on their terms, exactly how they wanted it, and it was worth everything they put into it.

We covered their songwriting, history, and general rock band stories of being on the road with U2, and Spiritualized. Veteran musicians giving you some of their most introspective work, I give you "The Moth, The Lizard, and Secret Machines" Enjoy.
