You generously assist a couple only to face an uncomfortable decision, or you spy your neighbour's kid oversharing online: What do you do now?
Cosy up with your Sticky Pickles' hosts Carole and Maria as they "attempt" to wiggle out of these all new sticky dilemmas.
Sticky Pickles: inspired by the internet, embellished by us. If you are in need a lil pick me up, you're in the right place.
---
Carole's blow-your-mind flapjack recipe:
Combine in big bowl:
-425g porrige oats
-1/2 tsp salt
Melt together in small pot or microwave:
-250g unsalted butter or coconut fat,
-200g sugar (i like a mix of brown and white)
-50g syrup (golden, maple, honey, corn syrup - whatever you like)
Pour hot butter sugar sauce onto oats and mix in.

*(Optional extras to mix in - yummy plain but also yummy sassed up)
-handful of dark chocolate, any nuts, seeds, dried fruits or coconut
-a shake of spice (cinnamon, cardamon, mace, nutmeg, ginger, etc
-a slurp of vanilla or almond extract

Bake:
-Line a 1-inch-deep baking tin with parchment (mine is 8x8x3), and push the sticky oaty mush in. Compact it as much as possible.
-Slap in middle of oven at 170c or 350f for 20 minutes. Then check every 5 minutes til it is browned, bubbling a little and smelling amazing.
-Cool 10 mins. Cut up into squares, leaving it to cool completely in baking tin.
-Scarf it down!
