In this episode, we only talk about two things, takeovers and IPOs - all of which contrast each other. Firstly the SLI takeover which is your regular takeover where the acquirer is trying to get 90% of the shares outstanding. The second takeover is not your regular cheese and is structured as a complicated buyback of Orion Healthcare shareholders. Then with IPOs we are talking a speculative investment in Cannasouth a medical cannabis company and AMP is looking to float its New Zealand wealth management business.
