Ben Raybould has had a mild form of Crohn's disease since 2009, which was maintained by low level drugs for a long period of time. After a period of remission, Ben found his IBD flare up again - something he thinks was caused by the stresses of the pandemic.
Having tried multiple courses of drugs, steroids and then biologics, Ben became a primary non-responder, leading to his Ileostomy in June 2022.
In this episode, Coloplast Ambassador Ben speaks about how his life has changed for the better after his operation and the need for us all to be educated on things like autoimmune disorders in our formative years.
