We double dip interviews this week because we're headed up to the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen and needed to learn how to navigate the scene. On today's podcast, we sit down with "The Queen of Chianti" Carlin Karr of the Frasca Food Group to talk about all things wine & food!
From her humble beginnings of trying to get a job in the hospitality industry to selling out tents at the F&W Classic talking about her love of the juice... Carlin has a wonderful story of navigating the restaurant scene. We chat with Carlin about how she found her passion and the road that led her back to Colorado. We discuss how to approach a wine tasting & what we're looking for when nosing a wine!
We also get her advice on best books for learning more about wine, favorite restaurants for sampling a range of juice, and what her favorite dinosaur may be... then we get a late night snack & call it a day!
