Peter Thiel: Bitcoin Will Be the 'One Online Equivalent to Gold' - Silicon Valley entrepreneur and venture capitalist Peter Thiel had a lot to say about Bitcoin yesterday. Thiel noted that all money is a bubble, and that all coins are secondary to Bitcoin, and that Bitcoin is the equivalent to online gold. The PayPal co-founder said that Bitcoin is more effective as a store of value than as a payment system and that its, “sort of hedge of sorts against the whole world falling apart.”

Today's word is: Airdrop - An airdrop is the practice of gifting a large amount of new coins or tokens to anyone who is interested. Rather than staging an Initial Coin Offering companies are turning to gifting their new tokens and coins as a way or drumming up interest in their new product. The interest in these airdrops is that the gifted tokens or coins will eventually be worth a lot in trade on an exchange.
