Did you ever play pretend as a kid?
I friggen did. šŸ‘šŸ¼
I would pretend to be a cat at recess in my snow suit on the icy playground at Bayshore elementary. šŸ˜ŗ
I would pretend to be Pikachu with my friends, even though I didnā€™t know who or what Pikachu wasā€¦
I would pretend to play house often (a very basic game for very basic colonizers). šŸ
I would play pretend A LOT.

As a kid, it was just a natural thing I could effortlessly do with my brain noodle.
As an adult, I brought pretending back into my lifeā€”full throttleā€” once I rediscovered the numerous benefits it offers.
Listen to todayā€™s podcast episode to learn all about how playing pretend can:
āš”ļøimprove your emotional intelligence
āš”ļøboost your creativity
āš”ļøand help your problem solving abilities

These are things adults need more desperately NOW, than they ever have before.

Itā€™s also scientifically proven that imaginative play has a positive impact on the brain and on our overall wellbeing, but I didnā€™t need scientific evidence to before I believed itā€¦

My own experience of playing pretend had already proven that to me.

Itā€™s never too late (and youā€™re never too old) to tap into the magic of your imagination.
