bread, Story Night, storytelling, empathy, compassion, poor, food bankYears ago I knew a guy who had just married. Lots of people he knew told this couple they’d struggle in the early years. This guy I knew didn’t want that.

But struggle they did.

It’s a rite of passage for many couples, the early setbacks that after years of work seem like distant, yet fond memories.

Lorinda Esposito shared a story about an early point in her marriage to Jason. She told it in November 2015, when the theme was “Breaking Bread.”

The song for this episode is something you’ll find out by listening to the episode. I put out requests for ideas and many of you helped create a whole list of songs that would have worked. We have binders full of songs now. In the end I went with the one Lorinda had in mind.

Thank you for listening. We look forward to hearing your story.
