The call of the wild are written by jack Lopndon is a story about a dog called Buck, who get sold, and taken away from his owner and sent to work as a sled-team transporting mail to the Goldfields in the frozen north.
The story not only describes the hard life of the dogs in this diffecult environment, but also the affectionate relationship that can develop between dog and man even under diddecoult conditions.
