On today's episode, Jason and Super Producer Rob G (Robert Guerra) kick things off with a deep dive into the Dallas Cowboys' Monday Night Football victory over the New York Giants. Most of us left the Cowboys for dead once Dak Prescott went down in Week 1, but backup Cooper Rush has been an absolute revelation in his absence. Dallas has won two in a row with Rush under center and suddenly look like they could be a top-5 team in the NFC once Dak and Michael Gallup return to the lineup. Later, the guys share their thoughts on the latest scuttlebutt to come out of Los Angeles Lakers media day as Darvin Ham admitted publicly that Russell Westbrook won't have a guaranteed spot in the starting lineup. It's been pretty clear for months that the team would prefer to move on from Westbrook altogether and perhaps relegating him to the bench could be the first step towards accomplishing that goal. Finally, J-Mac and Rob G close the show with a deep dive into the latest nonsense to come out of Kyrie Irving's mouth. The Brooklyn Nets point guard actually said with a straight face that he sacrificed over $100 million by refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine before last season. The problem with that statement, however, is general manager Sean Marks said a few minutes later that no such ultimatum ever existed and multiple NBA salary cap experts have said that Kyrie actually stood to make over $50 million more by signing an extension after the season. The foolishness never ends!
