On today's episode, Jason kicks things off with a quick thought on Steph Curry's virtuoso performance against the Kevin Durant and James Harden in Brooklyn. Curry was actually getting MVP chants in an opposing arena. Whether you like him or not, that man in special. Sticking in the NBA, Giannis Antetokounmpo made some headlines this week when he said in an interview that leaving Milwaukee for a major market would have been the 'easy' thing to do and that staying in Milwaukee was the 'hard' thing to do. Wait, what? Does Giannis not remember the way that LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis and James Harden were crucified by the media and fans for the way the left to greener pastures? More importantly, did he forget the amount of pressure each man faced to deliver a title? Nobody would have thought less of Giannis if he had stayed with the Bucks and never won, but they damn sure would have if he left and didn't deliver. Later, Pro Football Focus lead NFL analyst and podcast host Sam Monson swings by to discuss what makes teams like the 2021 Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens different than the 2020 Tampa Bay Buccaneers that won the Super Bowl, why the Green Bay Packers probably have the best case for being the best team in football, why it feels like the Tennessee Titans are destined to come back down to earth pretty soon, why the Cleveland Browns are in a really weird spot with quarterback Baker Mayfield right now, why he thinks we could see another QB Carousel-like offseason, why he's not surprised to see Matthew Stafford struggling as of late, why he believes that Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are really 'back', and much more!
