Dr. Niama L. Williams (Dr. Ni) will discuss her new social venture, \"The Two-House Project\" a non-profit organization providing \"writer-in-residence\" services to students of Norristown Area High School.
The Two-House Project was Dr Ni's way to help Norristown High School students combat their fear of writing. Dr. Ni found many Norristown High School students disinterested in reading, and afraid to write essays or any type of written work for which they would be graded. Out of that experience, Dr. Ni decided to bring in a writer-in-residence to work exclusively with the high school. The "writer-in-residence" would help students in creative writing, the writing of prose and memoir, reading, and literature.
