In this week's podcast Kirk speaks to Daniela Rodriguez of Agricafe in Bolivia. For years Kirk has had an obsession with Bolivian coffee that led him there in 2018. This later saw him using coffee from one of Daniela's farms, Finca Las Alasitas in the Australian Barista Championship in 2019. As a coffee origin, Bolivia has seen declining production of Specialty Coffee for over twenty years. Bolivian coffee growers face many environmental, financial and political barriers to both growing and selling their coffee. Coronavirus has of course added more challenges for coffee growers in this region. In this podcast Daniela and Kirk speak about those challenges while also speaking about what the future has in store for Agricafe and Bolivian coffee. Thanks to the Rodriguez family, the future is very bright for Bolivia as a coffee origin, not even COVID-19 can stop the team at Agricafe! Hope you all enjoy this podcast! As always, stay cool
