Every month Subdrive brings you our podcast showcasing a mix from an artist we respect and love. Their mixes reflect whatever they’re feeling and are inspired by at the moment. We present them without track listing so you can focus on the mix; not the next song. April’s episode is made by an old friend of ours, NYC-based music tinkerer @arq. His upbringing in gotham helped hone his skill as a master selector blending a spectrum of genres for all types of crowds all over NY from spots like The Panther Room at Output, Bossa Nova Civic Club, to tiny hidden gems in the city. His thoughtful digging and choice deep cuts also extend to his collaborations with the versatile talents of his crew, Suavehaus. His latest mix for our podcast is exactly what Spring and Summer are about: dancing late to warm, deep soulful house, laced with a little techno and disco that allude to the past.
