Thoughts. Feelings. Behaviors.

The mental health crisis for 2020 was something out of a horror movie. 2020 was a year of uncertainty, fear, and a year of uncharted waters for many people. The middle class was now wondering how they were going to feed their children, if they were going to have a job, immune health, family, friends, love ones and so much more. A pandemic and racial brutality reared its ugly head and exposed America in a debilitating way. The exposure sent heat maps of mental breakdowns for most. With the average human experiencing levels of natural stress, anxiety, and depression the year 2020 served an extra dose.

During our conversation with Jessica Reed who has been featured on Cosmopolitans 21 Black Relationship Experts to Follow on Instagram, Hello Giggles, and more. We reflect on 2020 and what it means to rework your brain for 2021. We dive into navigating Covid, situational depression, coping skills, therapy, and more.
