SBTI Episode #1 Robber Barons – Robber Barons were capitalists or entrepreneurs from the 19th century who were said to have achieved their success through unscrupulous means. Monopolistic practices, unfair treatment of workers and engaging in political entrepreneurship come to mind. They did have a softer side later in life. In this episode, we can look at some pretty successful internet pioneers and examine if we can classify them as being similar to the robber barons of the past. Do Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg measure up? You will have to tune in to find out!
