In this episode, I am going to only talk about a pre-Internet version of this phenomenon. The reason being is that it is so ubiquitous now that you really don’t need a history of it. You more than likely use it every day. I know I do. Can you guess? I will give you a hint. Do you like music? Do you stream it or share it? You know, it was a more personal experience before the internet, and it was not very easy to share.
In fact, in some cases it was illegal to do so. Basically, ever since we were able to record and mass produce music in some form, we have had the knack for sharing it.
