As a proud daughter of Mexican immigrants, Yarel knew that she had to take advantage of all the opportunities in the United States. She always went the extra mile to achieve her dreams both academically and professionally. Once Yarel decided that she wanted to be a journalist, she flew across the country and attended the University of Miami. Upon graduating, Yarel returned to Los Angeles where she was given the opportunity of her life to host her own show called Reventon. This opportunity led her to different routes throughout her career that she moved back to Miami to work for Telemundo. Little did she know that after years of working in Miami, she would return to the city where her heart belongs: Los Angeles. With her dedication and talent, Yarel Ramos has become the face to a dynamic newscast on Univision 34 Los Angeles called Edición Digital California.
