You would think that in 1993, a Super Mario Bros. movie would have been a blockbuster smash hit. Mario fever was at its very peak following the release of Super Mario World for the SNES, and kids all over the planet clamored for all the Mario media they could handle. There's no way it couldn't succeed, right? We take a look back at the movie that somehow managed to screw up the big screen adaption of Nintendo's flagship franchise in every imaginable way.
