In today's conversation with Steph, we're continuing our series on steps to prepare a collection for launch with a chat about product photography for art.

This has been a bit of a pain point for me personally as, no matter how hard I try, I'm just really not very good at taking photos of my art and I really really dislike photo editing. Therefore this is an area of my business where I have brought in help. Inversely for Steph, it's a strength area, so she does it herself.

We talk through the pros and cons of using a professional photographer and also what kinds of photos you need to sell your art.

Some of the key moments include;

  • Different product images that you can use to sell your art.
  • Giving yourself permission to invest in help with areas of your art biz that are a struggle.
  • How combining product photography with lifestyle images is a powerful combination.
  • To start where you’re at and use the tools that you have.

I hope you enjoy the episode. More shownotes and links are over at www.susannethercotestudio.com/podcast/product-photos
