Martin visits the birthplace of The Open Championship; Prestwick Golf Club. The club was founded already 1851 but in contradiction to its long history the club has only had seven teaching professionals. The first one was Old Tom Morris and number seven is David Fleming, who is the guest in this fourth episode of Martin Möter.
In addition to the history of The Open Championship David tells the story of Old Tom Morris and his relation to his son Young Tom – a man who was one of the first people to make a living from playing the game. Also listen to the shivering story of how one of Old Tom's decisions would lead to his son's heartbreak and eventual passing.
OBS! Detta avsnitt är på engelska.
