JEREMIAH

OVERVIEW

The message that ‘God loves us’ can be so attractive that it can make us think we’re invincible. Because if God loves us, he’d never allow harm to come to us…. right?

The people of Judah certainly thought so. They thought God’s love meant a free pass to live how they wanted. But Jeremiah’s message suggested the opposite. So, what are we to make of his message now? What does that mean for how we live today?

This week, Dave C helps us unpack the complicated relationship between God’s love and discipline.
