🚀 This week, we’re serving up a hearty slice of May 2004 chaos, with all the trimmings of scandal, tech tantrums, and pop culture pandemonium!
🛫 First up, tragedy strikes at Charles de Gaulle Airport when Terminal 2E crumbles under the weight of poor design—literally. As the newly constructed section collapses, it leaves us questioning whether faster is always better...
📵 Meanwhile, North Korea hits the ‘end call’ button on mobile phones, banning them faster than you can say "snake high score." Why? Allegedly to stem the tide of foreign influence—because who needs global connection when you have state-run media?
🗞️ Over in the States, The New York Times takes a hard look in the rearview mirror, admitting that their Iraq War coverage might’ve been a bit, well, weaponised.
🎤 In the reality TV realm, Fantasia Barrino turns a food run into an American Idol win, making us all wonder what magic lies in fast food that could turbocharge our own career goals.
🎬 In the cinematic universe, 'Shrek 2' proves that sequels can be more than just cash grabs. Who said second parts can't shine? Certainly not this ogre and his talking donkey.
🎵 On the tune track, Hoobastank is hitting hard with "The Reason," reminding us all why we’re still apologising to our exes. Meanwhile, Avril Lavigne is laying down moody tracks with 'Under My Skin,' proving once again that angst is eternal.
